The study case is the Laranja Doce reservoir, located in Martinópolis County. The maps were produced by using Arc/Info 7.1 and ArcView 3.0 packages. The cartographic design was based on analysis of geographic information characteristics, such as dimensional properties, which depended upon the scales adopted, and the measurement level. The graphic semiology approach was adopted for symbol design. The Atlas was implemented by using Frontpage (HTML language and JavaScript), for the site production and Flash for animation. This site aims at the diffusion of this kind of touristic product, that will help people to gain knowledge about reservoirs touristic areas.
