Description
Summary:This article deals with the Ukrainian crisis and its international implications. Firstly, it describes the events that led to the crisis and its aftermath until the annexation of Crimea by Russia. Then, a comparison between Russian and Western perspectives on interventions is offered in order to clarify the logic behind Moscow actions. The following sections treat the events after the annexation of Crimea and the implications of three possible scenarios arising from this crisis for international relations. In the conclusion, the Western strategy to deal with Ukraine is criticized and an appeal is made for Russia to be treated without obsolete references of the Soviet period.
