The methodology is based on the critical dialectical approach, and the study of documents and bibliographic sources. By studying the Career and Remuneration Plans for Teachers, the text analyzes the evolution of the initial and final wage of teachers working 40 hours per week, their work contract, career and professional training. It is concluded that the teaching career is uninviting.
