| Summary: | The article examines the legal principles of the state regional policy in the field of tourism in Ukraine. It is asserted that Ukraine implements national and local programs, strategies and concepts that determine local development of communities taking into account tourist, economic, social, historical, cultural and human resources. It is proposed to improve the legal mechanism of state regulation of the tourism sphere through the introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Tourism”. These include: formation of the foundations of the local (national, regional, local) identity of the population by means of tourism; establishment of the unity of Ukrainian nation; active cultivation of cultural and spiritual values, etc. |
