O “sentido da colonização” na territorialização do capital no Médio São Francisco: um olhar sobre o processo em meados do Século XVIII

This paper proposes to revisit and discuss the initial process of territorial formation of the Médio São Francisco, as position of the categorical assumptions of capital in territorialization, not without violence, and given in terms of the sense of colonization (PRADO JR ., 1979 [1942]). To that end, we turn to the bibliographical survey on the Sanfranciscan occupation, including an important historical reference, little studied, called "Roadmap of Maranhão to Goyaz by the captaincy of Piauhy" (of unknown authorship, published in the magazine of the Historical and Geographical Institute) written in (MARX, 1988 [1867]) and to the propositions of POLANYI (2000 [1944]) and KURZ (2014), in which the role of the State as promoter-product of the territorialisation of the assumptions of capital. First, by suppressing the means of the "social reproduction" of the indians, then by generating the production of subsistence, adequate to the sense of colonization: production of gold and goods for the Metropole. Process by which the social form of mediation was put, generalizing its fundamental categories, money, work and merchandise. These, violently imposed, became the social form of being of relations under capital.
