The border relations between France and Andorra are of two types: (1) cross-border relation between the Pas de la Casa and the Ariège department and (2) cross-border relation between France and Andorra. This work examines these two types of relations; first, through the elaboration of a theoretical framework allowing us to build a data collection with the aim to understand the mobility and boundaries concepts in the context of the Principality. Second, we present the methodological study design. The data had been obtained from both quantitative and qualitative sampling. The third part of this work describes and explains the border and cross-border mobility with the objective to determine the element that lead to exchanges between the two countries. The general objective is to define the border user’s profiles, but also their border perception.http://journals.openedition.org/belgeo/16476borderrelationshipsmobilitystakeholdersexchangesAndorra |
