INTERDISCIPLINARITY AND MULTIREFERENCE IN HEALTH SUPERIOR STUDIES

This study was carried out in order to situate some understanding on interdisciplinarity, discuss its insertion in the healtharea, introduce some dialogues in another epistemological perspective, the multireference and, consequently, broaden the possibilities ofcarrying out the education of professionals in the health area. The multidisciplinary perspective has assumed different meanings in theeducational field and has evolved as a way of counteracting the static world concept, which is present in the processes of professionalqualification. On the other hand, the multireference analyzes facts, practices and situations of educational phenomena, breaking disciplinaryboundaries and having a different look from distinct referential systems. By doing this, it’s possible to produce new kinds of knowledge,helping materialize all effective insertion projects of the citizens into social assets. This process brings about challenges which might befaced by educators, because we believe that it’s possible to glimpse another social order in the contradiction maze.
