Description
Summary:The purpose of the article is to introduce the idea of absolute beauty and the beauty, which belongs to nature and to art at Nicolas’ of Cuza thought. There is a supposition undertaking the foundation of such understanding of category of beauty that there is not commensurability (proportion) between the infinite and the finite. Nicolas of Cusa refers the absolute beauty to God while beauty existing in the world results from proportion and harmony. This idea of beauty is parallel to pseudo-Dionysius’ opinions on beauty.
