From the theoretical framework of evaluation and measurement and the Competencies Theory, which state an objective assessment of psychological attributes and the relationship between the data and the competence itself, a descriptive correlational study was made. Through this study, it was intended to establish the relationship between the ICFES Exam scores and the grades achieved in disciplinary subjects in the first semester of the psychology program at the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios in Bogota, Colombia. It was found a positive relationship between the overall scores in the ICFES exam and academic performance in disciplinary subjects of the program. Moreover, specific relationships between the scores in the areas of language, mathematics and social sciences, and disciplinary subjects were found. For this reason, it is concluded that performance in these areas is a predictor of performance in disciplinary subjects.http://www.uelbosque.edu.co/sites/default/files/publicaciones/revistas/cuadernos_hispanoamericanos_psicologia/volumen13_numero1/004_pruebas_icfes_saber11.pdfcompetencies Evaluationacademic performanceSaber 11 ICFES Exam
