The obesity is associated with hormonal disorders with excessive production of hormones with anti-inflammatory action, and reduction of pro-inflammatory hormones. It is accompanied by maintenance and enhancement of the chronic inflammatory process in pancreas as well as increases the risk of further complications. Obesity reduces the pancreatic exocrine function due to fatty degeneration of the acinar cells; it also leads to atherosclerosis of vessels with further deterioration of pantreatic trophism. The obesity is associated with enhanced synthesis and excretion of cholesterol with bile following concurrent increase of its lithogenicity as well as appearance of biliary sludge and concretion.http://gastro.zaslavsky.com.ua/article/view/74538chronic biliary pancreatitisobesityhepatobiliary diseasesmetabolic syndromebody mass index. |
