Summary:The article presents the results of a research project intended to devise strategies for the development of universal professional abilities in pre-service and labor training in Technical and Professional Education. Empirical, theoretical and statistical methods were used, the former includes lesson supervising and given questionnaires to students and professors, which allowed a starting diagnosis. The research was carried out at polytechnic schools of Camagüey province, it proves a low level of school-labor-economic cultured both in students and professors. The objective is focused to meditate in the conception of an educational strategy to strengthen school-labor-economic culture in technician’s pre-service training. The strategy proved to be effective, its importance and novelty makes several teachers to engage in research attaining to a Master degree on the topic.
