Stratégies des entreprises chinoises dans le domaine des TIC en Asie du Sud-Est : un élément central de l’intégration régionale

China’s presence in the countries of Southeast Asia is not new, but the extent and the form it has taken in recent years has changed in specific areas. The government has multiplied diplomatic projects related to ICT in Southeast Asia. This process is accompanied by an expansion of Chinese telecommunications companies within the region. This article analyzes the new dynamics of regional integration and inter-linkages between the strategies developed by the Chinese government and enterprises. Our results demonstrate that the evolution of the Chinese ICT industry is part of a national ambition which is the assertion as a regional power. We observe that the Asian integration requires, above all, development of regional production networks in which companies play a central role.
