In his books, Life of Serbs in Kosovo 1812-1912, and Kumanovo before and during the war, 1912 Janicije tends to present the life of Old Serbians and Kosovarians authentically including all the details concerning social circumstances at the time, stressing the period during the Turk's occupation, as well as the burden of albinism they experienced in Kosovo. As for factographic and historical documentary prose of the book Kumanovo before and during the war 1912, there is a particularly transparent tendency towards the Romanesque. Throughout the atmosphere of restlessness and apprehension, and the description of the most significant moments depicting the difficult life of Serbs in Kumanovo, it seems that this book has evoked the times of slavery, freedom fight, but also the day that the freedom was won in the most authentic way.
