Summary: | In this article, we discuss the practical aspects in the formation of concepts with children between 7 and 11 years of age, in the area of natural sciences. The text derives from the thesis that studied the formation of concepts of vital functions of animals carried out in a Cooperative School of Central City (COOPEC), Estado da Bahia, in 2009-2010. In this study aims to identify and discuss the questions of students about such content. We observe the propositions made by the students during the classes taught by researcher on animals, in the first series (2nd to 5th year). The classes were recorded in audio, video and photographed. Analysis of data from the trivia presented has been performed on all series based on the comparative method, in order to highlight the knowledge of children about living beings in the mediation of knowledge perspective for teaching. |
