Summary: | he fast scientific and technological development and the new systems ofarmament have growing impact on the ways of the contemporary warfare as well as onthe strategies and doctrines of the modern states. On this ground, the article pointsout the implications that arise from the scientific and technological development andthe use of weapons based on the information technology and their revolutionary impacton the modern warfare. The main focus of this article is on the latest inventions in thissphere, which also have impact on the organization of the armed forces and the warpreparations. As a result, today’s theory and practice elaborates on new types ofmilitary activities, such as informatic wars and neokortical wars. Given the fact thatthese new technologies are availible and developing very fast, they are not a privilegeof the developed countries only. In other words, there are a lot of indicators thatconfirm that the new types of war are going to have growing importance in the years tocome. |
