High correlation value (r =0,891) was observed for LDL cholesterol and distolic bloodpressure; significant F values were found for HDLcholesterol and cigarette smoking, distolic blood pressureand stress as well as distolic blood pressure and familyhistory; Fischer X2 was significant for the comparisonbetween sex and glucose levels. From 128 individuals thathad all risk factors informed, 3 (2,3 %) were identified asdysmetabolic syndrome carriers and four (3,1%) had noaltered measures. In 96,9% there were one to seven alteredmeasures making clear the complexity of the involvedfactors.
