Summary:The organizational innovativeness is considered a feature of the company willing to innovate, ie, with a culture that fosters the integration of new products or services in the market. The aim of this study is to conduct a bibliometric mapping of scientific studies on the subject organizational innovativeness in international databases Scopus and EBSCO, providing results on the state of art of this subject, characteristics of scientific papers published, existing cooperation networks between authors and universities and also present gaps in existing research. The method used was bibliometrics, with a sample of 48 items from a universe of 749 due to the cutouts made. To facilitate the visualization of networks of cooperation Ucinet the software was used. All of the works comprised the period from 1980 to 2012 The results suggest that: there is the formation of several small networking among researchers and between IES researching on the subject organizational innovativeness; among the journals that publish more studies on the subject highlights the Technovation; the years 2005 and 2012 stand out by the number of publications on organizational innovativeness; the measurement scale developed by Hurley and Hult (1998) is frequently used to measure this construct; quantitative researches stand out from the others; the authors state that there are still gaps in research on the topic in different sectors of the economy, especially in emerging and small businesses.
