Learning difficulties is one of the most common issues among<br />students. This study aims to investigate the implementation of Guidance<br />and Counseling in overcoming learning difficulties. This research is a<br />qualitative descriptive study, which used some data collection techniques:<br />interview, observation and documentation. While the data analysis<br />technique used is descriptive analysis to describe the conditions of<br />Guidance and Counseling in MTs.N Ponorogo in overcoming learning<br />difficulties. Analysis of data used Miles and Huberman’s data analysis.<br />The subjects were students of class VIII MTs.N Ponorogo, Guidance and<br />Counseling Teachers, Principals, and Master of Class. The results of this<br />study indicate that factors that affect students' learning difficulties are two<br />factors, it is inside and outside factors. Inside factors such as health,<br />interest to the subjects, intelligence, motivation and mood of student.<br />While external factors include state of the school environment, family<br />circumstances, school environment, and technology. Implementation of<br />guidance and counseling to prevent students' learning difficulties are<br />overcome difficulties in understanding himself; overcome difficulties in<br />understanding environment that includes school environment, family and<br />wider community; overcome difficulties in identifying and solving<br />problems; overcome difficulties in performing their abilities, interests and<br />talents and guide them to choose the employment that appropriate.<br />Preventing method of Guidance and Counseling in overcoming learning<br />difficulties including motivate students, directing and guiding students in<br />overcoming learning difficulties, and explains the steps of learning.</p>https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/tadib/article/view/785Guidance and Counseling, Learning Difficulties, Middle School, Education, School Management |
