Nordenskiöld asserts as a hypothesis that game might have its origins in the Andes. The authors proves that hypothesis correct using an iconografic analysis of a wooden game board of the Chimu culture that is in the collection of the Linden Museum in Germany. The author presents additional linguistic and ethnological arguments as well as a game description that supports Nordenkiöld hypothesis.http://journals.openedition.org/bifea/6360GamesChimuChacoAndesfertilityrituals
