Description
Summary:Commercial security systems with surveillance cameras emerged in the 70s, and their use is becoming more and more common since then. They evolved a lot since their creation, with functions as image recording, mobile and rotating cameras, movement sensors and, in recent years, with the help of computers. The present paper proposes a framework that provides high-level functionalities, using available resources of IP security cameras and some computer vision techniques, such as delimiting critical areas, facial detection and recognition and intrusion log generation.
