Moreover, the general chara-cteristics of storage processes are covered. The main factors that have an influence on the quality of stored products are discussed. The option to use an IT system for warehouse management is also mentioned. The main part of this manuscript analyzes the risk of storage processes. Based on this analysis, the cause-and-result relationships between product storage errors and authorization of a faulty product to use. Hence, the most probable storage errors and their sources are indicated.
