| Summary: | Hotels are establishments in charge of meeting the demand of guests either for leisure, work or tourism purposes in all their classifications in a particular city, department and / or region; Taking into account that the offer of Ocaña and its region as a tourist destination is projected, it is vitally important to know its accommodation capacity. To fulfill this task, a descriptive investigation was carried out through consultations with secondary sources, the visit and photographic record of the hotels where a questionnaire was applied, to identify their characteristics and real situation in terms of capacity, security and services offered, including variables such as number of employees, schooling, positions, services offered, type of guest, peak season, agreements and willingness to improve to guarantee the quality of service. There is no hotel in El Carmen; In Ocaña, La Playa and Ábrego there are a total of thirty-one (31) hotels with a capacity of seven hundred and fifty-two (752) rooms, arranged with five hundred and ninety (590) single beds, five hundred forty (540) doubles and thirty-two four (34) semi-doubles, to accommodate 1,164 people individually per bed, or 1704, if the double beds accommodate two people. |
