Summary: | The general aim of the work of research is to analyze the experience and pertinence of the Plan Puebla from the point of view of the producers of the zone studied, depending on the elements of the strategy of operation promoted by the technical personnel of the Plan, which allowed them to take advantage of the above mentioned technologies and services to favor the agricultural development; likewise, it is interested to analyze if the above mentioned aspects are adequated in the current conditions, in which a partially privatized extension is practised.The work in question was carried out in two of five zones of work that constituted the area of initial influence of the Plan Puebla, the zones that constitute the area of study include 20 communities of 9 municipalities; a semi-standarized survvey was applied to 117 producers participants of the Plan and two semimanagerial interviews: one of them to 12 producing key informants (principally leaders of groups of producers) and other one to five lenders of professional services (PSP) incharged to attend to the producers inside the partially privatized extension. Between the most outstanding results: in a scale that includes (Well, Regular and Bad), 65 % of the producing participants has a Good opinion about the action (performance) of the Plan and the rest a regular opinion about the set of activities that were realized. The activities are contained in three fundamental aspects of the strategy of operation of the Plan: technological, institutional and organizational. In the relation with each of the mentioned aspects the producers of the area of study and the former participants of the Plan, they had in general terms a favorable opinion and demostrated that the strategy of operation is suitable nowadays. The suitability is granted in function to the poor performance of the PSP of the partially privatized extension, which they operate on the area of study.
