The sustainability and integrity of the country depend on the sustainability of the regional social and economic system. The purpose of this research is to identify trends in the development of the regional consumer market in the conditions of the pandemic, to reveal its significance in forming the region’s sustainable development. To conduct the research the authors used the first statistic data about the functioning of the national and regional consumer market in the conditions of the pandemic. The object of the study is one of the Russian regions –the Sverdlovsk region.
