Methods, this study used is quantitative research and research subjects is 8 districts/municipalities in East Java. Analysis technique used is panel data regression with a random effect model. Research that has been done produces equations Y = 56,22- 0,07 X1 - 4,90 X2 - 5,48 X3 + 4,49 X4 + eit. Results, this study found that the higher the inflation, minimum wages and regional spending, the lower open unemployment rate. Meanwhile, for bank loans, the higher loan provided by the bank, open unemployment rate will increase. Variable that has the greatest influence in reducing the open unemployment rate is regional spending, while the variable that can increase the number of open unemployment rates is bank loans. Recommendations of this studyis hoped that with this research, the provincial government of East Java will increase the amount of regional expenditure in order to reduce the open unemployment rate. And it is hoped that banking sector will be more selective in providing loans so as not to contribute to increase in the number of open unemployed |
