Summary:This research focuses on knowing the music related to children’s daily life from an educational perspective. For this purpose, the research offers an instrument that allows to know the objective elements of the music children listen to while paying special attention to the sound environment which has the most coverture and impact, the one related to media This instrument constitutes the initial step to study its effects and to propose educational alternatives considering that the essential purpose of researching is to facilitate the improvement of education quality. The methodological development consisted in the designing of the research instrument, the template 3.0 and its application. This article focuses on analysing the revision, the technical characteristics, and some uses of the template. Our research is intended to facilitate and to foster the study of natural, audio-visual, and media environments, as well as their relation with education. restando especial atención al entorno sonoro de mayor cobertura e impacto, el mediático. El instrumento constituye el paso inicial para estudiar los posibles efectos de la música y proponer alternativas educativas, porque la finalidad última de la investigación es la mejora de la educación. El desarrollo metodológico ha consistido en la creación del instrumento, la plantilla 3.0, y su aplicación, dando cuenta en este artículo de su revisión, características técnicas y algunas utilidades. Este trabajo puede servir de ayuda para el estudio de entornos sonoros naturales, audiovisuales, mediáticos y sus posibles relaciones con la educación.
