The study of this or that aspect of religious mysticism involves the adoption of a definite, even not always well-formulated, conceptual statement about the essence of mysticism. A thorough study of this phenomenon is impossible without defining the scope of the concept of "mysticism", which would embrace all manifestations of the mystical. It is at the creation of the definition of such a concept sent numerous typologies that have been formed in the field of scientific study of mystical.
