In the context of science policy and research management, bibliometric maps can be used to support decision making by governments, funding agencies, and universities. The articles have words and references which are the bibliometric data for co-citation analysis and co-word analysis. We try to find that these two bibliometric approaches show any correlation? We applied these approaches to University of Tehran’ productions published between 1999 and 2008, retrieved from the Web of Science. The results reveals 14 co-citation clusters and 6 co-word clusters. The clusters vary considerably in size. Co-word clusters emerged co-citation clusters. http://jipm.irandoc.ac.ir/browse.php?a_code=A-10-1566-3&slc_lang=en&sid=1
