Summary:The paper shows that it is rather difficult to ensure preservation of geodetic stations of layout base on modern sites and realize a project pertaining to execution of geodetic works (PEGW) which is based on application of standard axis transfer methods for erection level especially it concerns when construction of high-rise buildings takes place. Taking into account operational possibilities of modern geodetic devices in the PEGW it is necessary to make provisions for more rational free schemes of geodetic layout base and apply corresponding alternative axis transfer methods for erection level, for example: a method of horizontal angles (an angular intersection); a range finder method (a linear intersection); angular-range-finder method; a satellite method. The satellite method ensures a radical scheme simplification of geodetic layout site base, the required preservation of support stations and efficient layout axis transfer technologies for erection levels.
