Description
Summary:Almada has becoming, along the last decade, one of the poles of interest for all those that investigate or they work in the complex field of the Public Art. Almada’s Public Art Programme has received many praises. However, the discourses were never explanatory on the form the programme is structured, who and how it is generated and how it is managed to produce the amount of works distributed by the territory concelhio. Starting from an interesting experience in 2001. when the Local Power reached their thirty years of democratic maturity it was designed a sculptural program to mark the ephemerid, being built an important number of monuments in each of the “freguesias” that compose the concelho of Almada.
