| Summary: | This article examines contributions to the strengthening of social cohesion by community organizations for social integration in the city of Montreal, based on the Center N A Rive case. The aim is to identify the strategies used by these organizations in order to increase social cohesion on the basis of immigrant integration. The methodology used is the case study. The research made it possible to identify the social innovations the organization studied had achieved in the field of literacy among adult immigrants, as well as its contributions in terms of access to employment, civic empowerment of immigrants at risk of social exclusion, and development of social entrepreneurship among immigrants. |
