Participant observation was also carried out.Information analysis followed the steps recommended for thematic analysis, resulting in the construction of an analysiscategory, which we called: nursing delivering care and living with oncological patients. Care delivery to oncologicalpatients occurs in an interactional way, in which there are mutual ideas, emotions and feelings’ exchange.
