Summary: | The trend, which is followed recently in terms of internal migration movement in theentire Turkey, is that the immigration level withina province is higher than theinterprovincial immigration level.However, all of the provinces with a positive migrationlevel between the provinces are located in the western regions of the country. TheProvince ofİzmir is the third among the most immigrated provinces and the fifthprovince with positive net migration level within entire Turkey'. The other provinces witha positive net migration rate in the Aegean regionare Muğla and Aydın.Within the scope of this study, the population structures, received throughimmigration by the town-centres of Ödemişand Söke counties under theprovinces ofİzmir and Aydın,which are geographic neighbours and havingpositive net migration levels in the Aegean Regionare discussed.The scope of work will be limited within the framework of the three main titles: 1.The emigrated settlements and causes of migration,2. The socio-economicconditions of the immigrating population in the immigrated place, 3. Theexpectations of the immigrating population for future. |
