The protocol AODV can overtake the topology change because its advantages of mass storage, simple algorithms and strong practicability. This kind of reactive routing protocol AODV is very fit for the characteristics of wireless sensor networks, and it also is a international recognized standard routing protocol which has been improved for several times. In this paper we firstly analyzed the adaptation and basic principle of AODV, then the problems faced in the applications.
