Summary: | Even with governments that started as class conciliators, there was no progress in land regularization process and promises of agrarian reform in Brazil. It is noticed a growing systemic violence, with the omission of the State itself contributing to its perpetuation. On the other hand, society in general understands the struggle for land as improper and sees social subjects involved as undeserving of rights. This factor is explained by the inflexibility of a society with hierarchical structures. This thought adds to the flexibility of conquered rights violations on the grounds of necessary management compelling crises. |
