Summary: | The article deals with the research of global transformations of the world tourism market and hospitality industry. The author analyses the influence of the main factors of macromedia - demographic, social, economic, technological and other trends on the dynamics, structure and future patterns of tourism. The paper traceі the correlation lines between the global evolution of the world economic activity center towards the developing countries and the spatial structure transformation of the world tourism market. The author states that the Asia-Pacific region, which will have accumulated 30% of international tourist flow by 2030, is going to become the engine of international tourism. The paper concludes that the rapid increase in world population and a change of its socio-demographic structure will ensure the expansion of demand for tourism and hospitality and a high rate of its development in the long run.
