Summary:<p class="bigFirst">The nineteenth annual Virginia Library Association Paraprofessional Forum Conference was held May 22–24, 2011, at the Holiday Inn Select/Koger South Conference Center in Chesterfield County. Karen Jacobs of George Mason University and Susan Carroll of Longwood University chaired this year’s event, which hosted 200 attendees. This year’s conference theme was “Libraries: Paving the Way for Success.” With the variety of concurrent sessions, special speakers, and networking opportunities offered to attendees, the program provided a wealth of valuable information and resources to enhance one’s professional development.</p>
