Summary: | Spacecraft is always equipotential connected. Faults in grounding cause electromagnetic dysfunction for airborne equipment or subsystems, which can be fatal for a satellite mission. Consequences of electromagnetic problems were evaluated in his paper on system level, and typical scenarios of electromagnetic interference were analysed, based on which a recommended system grounding model was put forward.
