Summary:The article examines the problematic aspects of the normalization of the modern Belarusian onomastics, conditioned by the situation of the state Belarusian-Russian bilingualism; under consideration there is a transfer of toponyms and anthroponyms from one state language to another. It is emphasized that the area of researchers’ interest should include the problem of preservation of the national onomastic system of Belarus and its authenticity.
