Description
Summary:With changing learner characteristics and learning environments, the teaching of rheumatology has been required to evolve. The importance of competency with managing rheumatologic disorders and education theories on which rheumatology curriculums are based on are discussed. Past, present and possible future rheumatology curriculums are reviewed. The way in which the key components of a successful programme are applied is illustrated with a discussion of the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) Department of Rheumatology and Immunology (RHI) curriculum.
