Description
Summary:The search for the research in the concatenation between the disciplines of Literature and Geography and the characterization of literary and geographic knowledge is aroused a preoccupation with the journey of Severino leaving the center of the country, a dry region in search of renewing his hope in the fight against death. This paper presents characteristics about the poem Morte e Vida Severina, written by João Cabral de Melo Neto. The article is developed, first in an attempt to conceptualize the space inside the cultural geography, describing the author and his work. Finally it discusses a study of Brazilian’s regional literature, ontextualizing space and time.
