Summary:This article discusses, from the literature, the causes, characteristics, terms and concepts that involve the phenomenon of right wing radicalism, whose resurgence has occurred in several countries around the world since the end of the twentieth century. Although there is not much consensus in the field of research, the literature has presented patterns among the various occurrences and has drawn attention to the fact that this ideology has been installed in democracies, vying for visibility and voter voting through state and state models. authoritarian, restrictive and anti-plural societies, based on offensive and exalted performances against certain social groups (outgroups), modalized as enemies of the nation.
