Summary: | This paper presents the response of a spring-mass system submitted to an arbitrary dynamic excitution. That
response is evaluated using the Duhamel Integral Method also called Convolution Integral Method. In this
method the total response is obtained by adding the responses of an injinite number of impulses. The analytical
response it is not always possible. Thus, it is presented here the procedures for numerical nrsessment of the
Duhamel integral. Finally it is shown a numerical example to illustrate this methodology. |
