Description
Summary:Pancreaticobiliary diseases, which include cholecystitis, choledocholithiasis, cholangitis, malignant biliary stricture, pancreatic pseudocyst and pancreatic cancer, hava increasing morbidity and mortality year by year and severely threatens human lives, for which there are many therapeutic methods in clinic. The promotion of endoscopic otomy and the development of new devices have greatly improved the successful rate of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatology (ERCP). Additionally, with the development of non-invasive diagnostic technique for pancreatic disease like magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography, ERCP can also be widely used in the treatment of pancreatic disease. Therefore, this study mainly reviewed the application of ERCP in the treatment of pancreaticobiliary diseases, hoping to improve the survival rate of patients and provide basis for the clinical treatment.
