Repetition, serialization, popular narrative and melodrama
This article presents some concepts to comprehend the process of repetition and serialization in nowadays fictional audiovisual productions, emphasizing how certains aspects of the aesthetics of the melodrama and of the popular romance contribute to this logic of “innovation on repetition”.
