Summary:This article aims at analyzing the aims of education. From the criticism to the New School movement, the article suggests that the phenomenon of social propaganda prevails all aims, interests and achievements of the elite of industrial-bourgeois formation, which control the modern State. Gramsci's theory allows the interlocution with Chomsky and his denouncing work, it also explains the aggressiveness of an American model of propaganda and it also helps us understand propaganda as a comprehensive social factor. Popular power that is warned against the idea of a pure and aseptic education, through an intelligent resistance, will take proactive measures to advance by means of non-elitist and non-controlling educational projects.
