Una nueva combinación en Steriphoma paradoxum (Jacq.) Endl. (Capparaceae)
Steriphoma paradoxum (Jacq.) Endl. subsp. venezolanum (Briq.) X. Cornejo is proposed as a new combination because of marked differences in gynophores, stamens, and pedicels between the Mesoamerican and Venezuelan populations. The Briquet binomial is recovered for the subspecific range.
