Summary:The article is aimed at describing the problems and prospects of organic vegetable market development in Ukraine from the point of view of small business. In the segment of vegetable production in Ukraine, an active formation of the organic market is going on, as evidenced by the AIC dynamics, surpassing any other indicators. At the same time, the non-certified production of organic vegetable growing is being carried out spontaneously or in a less orderly manner. There is a big problem concerning the correct monitoring of this sector of farms, which is represented, first of all, by small commodity forms of production. Earlier or later, but the implementation of this group of farms to the available monitoring network will occur as the market becomes formalized, because the lack of certification limits directly both the prices and the profits. The study results in determining that the national market needs modern infrastructure. It can be argued that the domestic market of organic vegetable production in Ukraine continues to remain in the domain of uncertain pricing mechanisms, the consequence of which is, on the one hand, the overstatement of prices, on the other - lack of an established demand segment. Prospects for further researches in this direction is studying the peculiarities of formation and development of the market of organic vegetable products in Ukraine from the point of view of small business.
