Summary:Statins are very well recognized drugs for the management of hypercholesterolaemia and cardiovascular risk. Usually they are very well tolerated with few side effects. We report a case of 77 old years man who developed a cholestatic hepatitis secondary to atorvastatin therapy. The post-marketing surveillance is decisive to valuate the drug safety.
