Doit-on s’attendre à un refus du déploiement de l’hydrogène ? Dynamique territoriale et transition énergétique

Far from being limited to strictly environmental stakes, energy transition gives mainly rise to political, social and economic stakes. It is accordingly important not to reduce the deployability of technology to its technoscientific benefits. The introduction of Hydrogen as an energy vector is a gre...

It is accordingly important not to reduce the deployability of technology to its technoscientific benefits. The introduction of Hydrogen as an energy vector is a great opportunity to gain insight into tensions and stakes that are extrinsic to technoscientific issues. This is because Hydrogen is at the same time widely known as a chemical element and completely unknown as to the infrastructure and the practices that its deployment would really entail. It is thus possible to analyze the perceptions of an industrial technology before its deployment and to observe the limits of looking at social acceptability as a mere consequence of that technology.http://journals.openedition.org/vertigo/30350social acceptabilityhydrogendeployment logicNormandydiscourse and perception
